ABOUT US

Chris Wittkamp III

Born and raised in Columbia Falls, MT, Chris is a second generation Montanan. He has always had a passion for automobiles that goes back to helping his father at the young age of four in the backyard working on the old 1986 F150. It all began with taking the bolts & nuts from the engine bay while working on the carburator and placing them up the tail pipe of the '86 F150 when dad wasn't looking. Later when dad asked where the nuts & bolts were, innocent little Chris shrugged and said "I dunno." They were found later once the truck was started and they rattled out from the tail pipe.

Years later, Chris began learning how to do oil changes and brakes with dad, (and not stealing bolts to place in the tail pipe again), that eventually led him to researching more about vehicles & how they operate.

At 23 years old, Chris had done over 3,000 hours of research between online articles, books, and talking to other car enthusatists, in order to learn everything and anything he could to better his knowledge on vehicles. Chris has continued to work on vehicles whether its regular maintenance or a project vehicle for fun.

Chris is a husband to an amazing wife and father of three beautiful kids. Chris and his wife plan to stay in Columbia Falls no matter what it takes, as this is home for them.

Malaki Gray

After birth, he imediately crawled under a car to begin a transmission swap and full engine teardown. The rest is history...well sort of.

All joking aside, Malaki is the most mechanically inclined self taught person this side of the Mississippi and knows how vehicles operate inside and out. If there was ever a question about what sound the vehicle is making or what would cause a certain issue, he is the car guy to call and get it fixed correctly and quickly.

There is no one else Witty's Garage trusts more than Mal when it comes to vehicle knowhow and maintenance. He's also the master at the occasional dad joke while in the middle of working on a vehicle, so look out for that.

Mr. Gray is a husband to a wonderful wife and father of two amazing children. He has a business of his own doing gunsmithing and works full time when not tinkering on vehicles and guns.

FAQs

What services does Witty's Garage provide?

We offer a wide range of mobile general auto repair services including but not limited to oil changes, drivetrain fluid exchanges, brake rotor & pad replacement, air filter replacement, full vehicle inspections, spark plug replacement.

How can I book a service with Witty's Garage?

You can easily book a service by contacting us through texting or calling us directly to schedule an appointment.

How much can I expect to pay for an oil change on my vehicle?

As much as we would love to give an exact number as a general for all vehicles, it's not possible. Every vehicle takes different size filters and different quantities of oil. I have been told by clients that we are cheaper, comparable, and sometimes overpriced compared to service stations & delearships.

We are definately not the cheapest service for oil changes in the Flathead Valley but we provide the highest quality care, convenience of arriving at your location and very best products for our client's vehicle(s). If you send us a text message with your VIN number of the vehicle you want serviced we can provide you with an exact quote so you know what you will be paying.

Do I have to use Amsoil Products?

Short answer, No! We have a few clients that still prefer using a specific brand of oil & filter that they have used for 10+ years and swear by it. That is perfectly okay, we will just double check it's the correct oil weight, amount, and filter for your vehicle before service. However we do highly recommend Amsoil products as we personally use them with any machine we own.
